Judge-Boyle has ridden Grand Prix horses Buoyancy and Money, to top ribbons in Grand Prix competition during her career, crediting her ability to ride and show for enhancing her competence in teaching and training.
“If you ride and show you know what the experience is like, which makes it easier to teach riders and train the horses to be successful in the show ring,”
Lori Hollandsﾠhas more than 30 years of experience in the horse industry, first as a competitor and then as a trainer.ﾠ Hollands emphasizes to her students the importance of hard work and good horsemanship as stepping-stones to their horse showing goals. During lessons, she focuses on developing strong fundamentals for both horse and rider in order to create a solid base for progressing to the next level.
Holland’s training methods are tailored to each student’s learning style, which makes her a successful teacherﾠfor a wide range of riders including timid adults returning to the sport and gutsy juniors who grew up on horseback.ﾠ Over the years, she has trained many of her students to successes in the show ring ranging from the small pony hunters and short stirrup to top-level equitation riders.ﾠHollands enjoys working with horses at all levels of training from green horses just learning to jump to experienced upper level hunters and jumpers.
“I enjoy what I do and I love to see riders achieve their goals, no matter how small or big the goal is,” said Hollands.
